Asperger's Syndrome by Matthew Edmonds

This is my Term One topic on Aspergers. It took me the whole term to finish it. I learnt a lot from this topic and in perfect timing for the mufti day on Thursday to raise funds for Autism.

 I had a list of questions to research.  I chose two to share with you.

What is Asperger’s Syndrome?

Aspergers syndrome is a developmental disorder that is part of autism and the autistic spectrum. It is sometimes referred to high functioning autism. It is characterized by limited interests or unusual perception with a particular subject to the exclusions of other activities.

History of Aspergers

A German named Hans Aspergers noticed that some children were a little different. Him and Lorna Wing who discovered this disorder had this disorder themselves. They tested them and named the disorder after his surname. This was discovered in 1994.
